Teaming up Shimmerz Paints and Bella Fundamentals

Hi Everyone, Beck Beattie here sharing some fun teaming up my Shimmerz Paints and Bella Fundamentals products.  I have had with the divine corrugated cardstocks by Ruby Rock-it Bella Fundamentals and in the main Shimmerz Inklingz.

Melbourne Paperific Expo classes

I'm so excited to let you all know that I'll be teaching 4 different classes at this years Melbourne Paperific Expo!  How exciting!  It is shaping up to be Paperific's biggest expo yet with so many talented artists, lots of exhibitors  - including SCRAPPY CHAT DESIGNS!  Yes I'll be having a stand too!  The weekend as always will include loads of fun make and takes, classes, designer inspiration wall and not to mention loads of yummy products to get your hands on.

As mentioned I'll be teaching 4 classes and will have a stall this time to ensure you can get your hands on the yummy products we'll be using in the classes.

These are the 4 classes I'll be teaching.

Mixed Media Reverse Canvas

Have you wanted to delve into the world of mixed media projects but don’t know where to start?  Have you thought mixed media projects are beyond your level feeling more of a beginner or not that ‘Arty’?  Well come along to Beck’s Mixed Media reverse canvas class where she will de-mystify the world of mixed media with her no stress approach to layering and getting your hands dirty.

Suitable for all levels you are sure to have the ‘Ahhhh I can do this!’ moment.  In this class we will have fun creating a textured reverse mixed media canvas.  We will be sure to finish in the allotted class time having you walk away with a stunning piece you will find hard to part with while in Beck’s signature teaching style; learning lots of different techniques along the way.

Watercolour Powders Unleashed!

Have you been hearing about the numerous watercolour powders on the market and want to give them a go? Watercolours come in so many varieties and in this class we will be exploring the powdered form as a feature with Colour Crush Watercolour powders. This REALLY hot trend in water colouring is so much fun and Beck BT wants to show you how using her ‘Homegrown’ version of these by Tinby Designs. 

In this class we will be creating two Scrapbooking,  OR Art Journal pages, OR 4 cards (the choice is yours), learning numerous techniques for working with these amazing bursts of powdery colour.  Examples will be provided for all versions, cards, Scrapbooking pages AND Art Journal pages.  

Creating options:

• Two cards, and One scrapbook page OR Art Journal page
• One Art Journal page and One Scrapbook page
• Create only Cards, Scrapbook pages, OR Art Journal pages

The choice is yours, as is your colour combinations!

Explore Indigoblu

Explore mixed media with IndigoBlu. In this class we will be creating a mixed media page and a separate canvas exploring the use of many different Indigoblu products including IndigoBlu’s divine metallic paints, stamps, FlutterGlu and Mega-Flakes!  We will also be teaming that up with the use of Spellbinders dies in some different ways creating loads of fun to be had in class!

Tailoring Techniques and Products for a Masculine Style

Come along and create a scrapbook page or 3 cards all designed for you to explore your inner masculine style!

Creating cards and layouts for the masculine half can be a little more challenging.  With age often playing a part we will be exploring some tips and techniques for tailoring them to various aged males.  We will move from little boys to teenage boys through to older men.  Using similar products in varying ways you will be armed with ideas on how you can better tailor masculine cards to age, while still making some really cool looking cards.  We will also delve into some mixed media in this class in an effort to help grunge it up, working with sprays, stencils, gesso and texture paste, as well as textures from Shimmerz and Metallic Melts by Tinby Designs.

Brisbane Expo class 1 - Watercolour Cards class OR 4 layouts

WOW I can't believe this time next week I will be in the thick of my classes at the Brisbane Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo!  I am going to be a busy lady teaching 9 classes over the three days.  Each of my 3 classes are taught each day and I am already so blown away by the support for my classes.  The journey I have been on has been amazing and I feel so blessed to get to share my passion with so many people around the country!  

The first class I kick off with is truly a jam packed full of techniques and know how with different watercolour products.  This is the class to do if you want to learn benefits of the various forms of watercolours out there and their reason to use over another!  

I designed this as a card class so that I could share more different products and techniques... BUT after some requests I have created Scrapbook page versions of the cards, so that the scrapbookers out there can come along 

and knock over 4 layouts in the class.... YES 4 layouts while learning all the 

techniques and having a go with the various products featured in the class!  There is VERY limited spots available.  The Saturday is already sold out!! So I'm not joking when I say get your bookings in!  

Here is a sneak of the projects we will be creating!  You get to choose if you want to do scrapbook pages or cards... OR even bring along your Art journal and feel free to create them in there learning as you go.  My classes are ALWAYS about the learning, BUT I wanted to spoil everyone in this class so EVERY person gets a STAMP AND DIE set!  Yes you get to take them home!

It is such a versatile set like the collection it
