Chameleon Color Tones pens Giveaway winner announcement

Hi Everyone, sorry I've been so quiet on here lately, but I've been crazy busy being mum, educator and also dealing with lots of computer problems :(  Hoping to see the end of the computer problems before long!

I am VERY overdue with some giveaway announcements, but today I'm onto it!  Recently I had an article published in Scrapbooking Memories Magazine featuring the new Chameleon Color Tones Pens.  These pens are SO much fun!  Here are the two layouts I created for it if you didn't get to see them:

Anyway I held a little giveaway with a small pack of the pens and so I am very excited to announce the winner!  I used the 'Random number generator' to work out the winner off the comments left on the post (not including mine)  And here is the winner:

These look like they would be a lot of fun My mind has gone into overdrive just thinking of how to play with them.

YAY to my announcement!

Spellbinders YUMMY Sapphire machine is doing the rounds

Hi Everyone today I am here to share with you some fun projects I have created with the new Spellbinders Sapphire collection.  This collection of dies makes creating so fun and easy and teamed up with the wonderful new entry level machine that looks OH SO CUTE it could not be more fun!

And you have a chance to get your hands on one for yourself!  More details on that at the end.

Currently Spellbinders have a blog hop with partnering companies sharing projects from all over three days.  I just adore the products these companies share with us and set about using them on my fun projects.  Along with these I used Spellbinders Sapphire Collection Die sets:

Basic Set B - PHS-503
Birds and Butterflies PHS-507

Butterfly Reverse Canvas

To create the canvas above perfect for a sweet gift start by turning your canvas around so you are working in the reverse area.
  • Add DecoArt® Gesso to all the inside and allow to dry.
  • Add some DecoArt® Modling paste over the staples and allow to dry
  • Cut/emboss the large butterfly from the Sapphire Birds and Butterflies PHS-507 set from different papers in the My Mind's Eye 'Fancy that' collection
  • Add a little colour with Faber-Castell® Design Memory Craft® Gelatos in metalic melon to the white areas of any butterfiles
  • Adhere butterflies using Beacon 3-in-one all purpose Adhesive
  • Now wrap and give to that special person!
See you don't need to do much with these sweet die sets to create beautiful projects!

                     Butterfly Reverse Canvas
I couldn't just stop at the gift so I created a card to match in as well - could a gift given in such a way be more sweet?

Layer some more of the My Mind's Eye 'Fancy that' collection papers onto a white cardstock base
  • Layer more My Mind's Eye 'Fancy that' collection papers onto a whitle cardstock base
  • Add some splatter from the Imagine Crafts® Tangelo Fireworks spray
  • Cut/emboss 3 different size butteflies from the Sapphire Birds and Butterflies PHS-507 set from white cardstock and adhere to the card with your Beacon 3-in-one all purpose Adhesive
  • Cut/emboss the large tag from the Basics B Set PHS-503 from white cardstock
  • Stamp your 'Happy Birthday' sentiment from the Kaisercraft 'Pop Quotes' clear stamp set with the Tsukineko® Tuxedo Black StazOn ink pad.
  • Tie a little cream twine from May Arts to each side of the tag
  • Adhere with foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and your card is ready

My projects today were created with

Sharing card fun with versatility

Hi Everyone here again today to share another fun stamping technique with the new Bella Fundamentals stamps.  I just love these little sets and how versatile they are!  Teamed up with some of the wood veneer alpha sets they make the perfect Father's Day or Dad's birthday card

Products Used:

As you can see below the wood veneer alphas really add a wow factor to the card.  This card could EASILY be adapted to a different theme... change the 'DAD' word for 'FRIEND' or 'MUM' or EVEN 'NANNA' or 'PA'

Having all the alphas in the pack enables you to make a quick and easy fun set of cards ready for all the upcoming birthdays!  And best of all it is totally gender neutral!

I'm an IndigoBlu Belle and SO EXCITED!

A while back I fell in love with this UK company that produced some of the most inspiring and fun stamps on the market.  I ordered some of their stamps and I was so excited when they arrived in the mail.  When I saw they had a design team call recently I knew I just HAD to put in as to work with all their yummy products not just their divine stamps would truly be a dream come true!

Well yes...... DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE!

I have been BURSTING to share that I (although I can't believe it) have made this amazing team full of such inspiring artists!  I have already been getting busy and planning to share LOTS of their wonderful products with everyone and my take on all things IndigoBlu.

Head on over to the website to have a sneak into the yumminess that I will be playing with!

As I said I have been busy playing with the products and here is a sneak of one of my first layouts I have created with them that I will be teaching at some upcoming events around the country.

Have an awesome day or night depending where you are in the world!

An update

Wow what a month it has been!  With SO many teaching events, being the Guest Artist at the Brisbane Scrapbook and Papercraft expo teaching 9 sold out classes and also busy designing new classes.  Yes it doesn't stop.  I have been playing catch-up and I still have a bit more to do... like exciting giveaways!  Stay tuned as it will be worth it!

Anyway, as I spend some time editing photos, sorting through the VERY long email list from all the participants over the 3 days in my classes and finish putting all the different products used in the classes away I thought I might do a quick share!

Well it is no secret that I love my Scrapbooking, but I must say I have been enjoying falling in love with Cardmaking all over again and also developing through creating more and more of them.  I have been blown away by the features of my cards on the covers of magazines lately and really wanted to share with you two of my latest main cover features.  I adore how the cards in this features came, so different to each other but equally as fun!

My cards are the main feature cards on each magazine.  You can find links to order these magazines HERE

Hope you enjoyed my quick share today... I'll be back with some more projects to share over the coming days

Scrap around the world - mega extragavanza

Scrap Around the World Mega Extravaganza!!

Hi Everyone I was determined to enter this month despite being so crazy busy with the expo looming this weekend.

I had fun creating the page using the Prima Watercolour pencils, some gold leaf, Spellbinders die cuts, yummy 2Crafty Chipboard, pretty flowers, Spellbinders A Gilded life glass glitter and also some Tinby Designs Metallic Melts.  The photo is courtesy of these girls' mum Kelly who I worked with as a teenager MANY years ago.  Aren't her girls adorable!  No they aren't triplets although look as though, there is a set of twins in there though LOL

This months mood board was so inspiring!  You can check out all the details HERE

I was inspired by the girly feel, the flowers, the 100s and 1000s on the glass and the fun mood this board gave me.

Here are some details pics so you can get up nice and close

Hope you enjoyed my share today :)  And now it's back to getting things sorted for the upcoming Brisbane Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo!  See details below :)

Documenting special Mum moments

Hi Everyone sharing again another project for Ruby Rock-it and this month we are celebrating mothers!  Today I wanted to share a layout created to document a special 'mum' moment.  With mother's day around the corner I thought it nice to document a special moment I had as a mother myself.  My boys are just the sweetest when they wake up Christmas morning... they run past their presents and stockings to come and give me a big cuddle and kiss.  It was so nice to capture an early morning selfie the 3 of us.  Being not a very clear or high quality photo I didn't want to go to big in size for the photo, therefore I kept the embellishments to a minimum keeping the photo the focus of the page.

Products Used:

Bella Fundamentals Krafty Goodness Paperz
Bella Fundamentals Hearts and Stars wood Veneer FUN51
Bella Fundamentals - Cardmaking cardstock 20pk

Partner Product:
Spellbinders All You die set

Here is another up close pic so you can see a little more detail
