Brisbane Expo class 1 - Watercolour Cards class OR 4 layouts

WOW I can't believe this time next week I will be in the thick of my classes at the Brisbane Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo!  I am going to be a busy lady teaching 9 classes over the three days.  Each of my 3 classes are taught each day and I am already so blown away by the support for my classes.  The journey I have been on has been amazing and I feel so blessed to get to share my passion with so many people around the country!  

The first class I kick off with is truly a jam packed full of techniques and know how with different watercolour products.  This is the class to do if you want to learn benefits of the various forms of watercolours out there and their reason to use over another!  

I designed this as a card class so that I could share more different products and techniques... BUT after some requests I have created Scrapbook page versions of the cards, so that the scrapbookers out there can come along 

and knock over 4 layouts in the class.... YES 4 layouts while learning all the 

techniques and having a go with the various products featured in the class!  There is VERY limited spots available.  The Saturday is already sold out!! So I'm not joking when I say get your bookings in!  

Here is a sneak of the projects we will be creating!  You get to choose if you want to do scrapbook pages or cards... OR even bring along your Art journal and feel free to create them in there learning as you go.  My classes are ALWAYS about the learning, BUT I wanted to spoil everyone in this class so EVERY person gets a STAMP AND DIE set!  Yes you get to take them home!

It is such a versatile set like the collection it

Hi Everyone, Beck Beattie today with a sweet card share.  This card I created for my mum for Mother's day.   I adore the Faded Empire collection and I know my mum does too, so there was no question which collection I turned to for my card made specially for her!

WOW how excited am I!  The Brisbane Scrapbook and Papercraft expo is coming quick full steam ahead!  Where has the year gone?

I am really excited as I have been given the honour of teaching 3 classes a day over the Expo weekend featuring 3 awesomely fun projects full of LOADS of techniques!  I am ever so thankful for my sponsors who have generously supplied some fun products for my kits!

My studio shares with RG Make Amazing team

Hi Everyone, I hope you are getting some time to get creative and do what you love!  We are sharing our space over on the RG blog over the coming week, so I wanted to pop in and share mine with you all, along with my favourite storage tip!

I just adore my studio which is in a large attic room in our house.  We have recently made it into a little more of a family room but there is still lots of space for me and my boys to get creative!

My boys also have their own creative space and the just LOVE getting into my Celebrations and Fun Stampers Journey ink pads and stamps!

 I also wanted to share how I store my die and stamp sets as well as other matching embellishments.  I love these A6 folders.  I have store all my dies and matching stamps in them - it is really easy to flick through them and work out which one you might like to use!

1. First I like to remove any excess packaging and keep them stored on either magnetic sheets or the original card they came on.
2. I often will write the name and code on each one, helping me to keep them in some order as well as allow me to list my products easier on my blog posts, videos or magazine articles.
3. Next I add them to the sealable pockets and then into the folders

These pockets are also great for non bulky embellishments too such as thes Bro Rivets from the Lumberjack Days collection and accent dots from the Make Amazing Happen Collection.

Each folder is labelled on its spine and I then store my many folders at the edge of my table for easy access and reach when I'm creating.
