Scrap the Boys March Challenge

I just LOVED this challenge currently up on the Scrap the Boys Challenge blog!

                                        COLOUR COMBOGREENBLUE & YELLOW

The colours are just so lovely and can be taken so many different ways.  I decided to go quite clean for me this time with regards to 'styles'.  I actually designed my layout some time ago but just hadn't had a chance to stick it down.

Here is the final layout which is my take on the challenge:

When I was sticking down the layout that I had designed weeks ago I didn't realise I had put the twine to the side, complete with enamel dots on there ready to go.  I photographed the layout, and sent it off as my DT take on the challenge.  I then cleaned up and guess what I found!  Yes the twine.  It is funny how much a bit of twine can bring focus to a pic.

I had it on there for a reason when I designed it and when I look at both photos I can clearly see what a difference a bit of twine can do.  Given this I thought I would share both with you so that you can see the difference it made too.

To create this layout I used yummy Bazzill Card Shoppe Collection teamed up with Kaisercraft's 'Confetti' collection - such a versatile collection and the following Spellbinders® dies:

                               IN-013 Rainy Days                          S5-131 A2 Matting Basics A

Hope you enjoyed my share today and come over to Scrap the Boys to play along with us!
