Hi Everyone, I'm here to share with you as part of the
RG Make Amazing Sneak Blog hop. While I have had the pleasure of using Richard Garay's Celebrations line for some time now there are new RG collections on the way and we are so excited to be providing you all with a sneak into these divine collections.
This week we are giving you a look into the new 'Make Amazing Happen' collection. This collection is fun and bright and so divine to create with! Considering my motto is 'Make It Count - Be Amazing' this collection couldn't be more me! I LOVE the inspirational feel to the whole collection!
I decided to create two projects to share with you today. A Scrapbook page of my talented scrappy friends who always make amazing with my Scrappy Chat kits so I thought the collection was a perfect fit, and an inspirational frame, perfect for gift giving!
For this scrapbook page I used the colorful side of the 'oh so pretty' papers in the collection. The reverse of these papers are all black and white which is really cool as well.
I teamed it up with some
'Fun Stampers Journey' products in ink pads, paint, Journey Glaze, modelling paste as well as their divine tools - scissors, stencils and acrylic blocks.
The title for the page is easily created by first stamping with black ink onto white cardstock and then using the co-ordinating die you can easily place it over the stamped image, secure with some low tac tape (I use washi tape) and then die cut the title out.
I stamped the flowers onto some additional white paper and then fussy cut them out for some added dimension to the page. Finished off with some dimensional glaze they make the perfect embellishment to the page!
For added background interest I used the Make Amazing Happen stamp, to stamp in the background with the Banana Cream ink pad.
For a second project I created an inspirational frame. These are really popular at the moment and I have been dying to create one with my own arty background! I was really inspired by some a friend of mine Melissa Kennedy created and thought they would make a divine gift for some special friends!
I created my arty background keeping it quite flat so that I could stamp a clear image. If there are any bumps it is likely to miss little areas (these can be fixed with a black permanent maker though). I then stamped the 'Make it count Be Amazing' words using a black permanent ink pad. I couldn't handle no dimension at all so added a little stenciling with thick Gesso to finish it off.
Well I hope you enjoyed my sneak projects today!
