Hi Everyone,
I have been for over a week playing along with the cybercrop challenges over at D'lish scraps. Wanted to get to so many of them, but have had a full on week so I'm at two so far and this is my first one to share. The challenges are all so inspiring so I will be sure to continue to play along with them after the close off for entries :)
The first challenge was from Tarrah McLean. I have always loved Tarrah's work and this layout is a beautiful example of her style.
So my take on this challenge, I was very influenced by her colours and also used her layout as a sketch. Another element I challenged myself to to which I VERY RARELY do is to scrap a picture that isn't a scenic picture or have no people in it. So glad I was challenged to scrap this photo!

Here are some of the products I used to create this layout
Spellbinders alpha die set - love having that set up my sleeve for alphas in whatever colour I need, a new favourite stencil from The Crafters Workshop, new papers from Kaisercraft as well as a stamp from Kaisercraft. I also added a lovely MDF arrow from Scrapmatts, woodgrain enamel dots and a cork board element.
Stay Tuned later tonight and I will share another challenge layout completed!
Simply stunning Beck! I just adore your background work and that background edge paper is awesome! Also love that you scrapped a photo out of your comfort zone too! Well done! Beautiful work as always x Thank you so much for joining in my challenge and good luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tarrah! I was nice to be you for a day and scrap your style, really helped me with my layering which I don't seem to do as much of these days!
