D-lish Scraps 5th Birthday Bonanza cybercrop Challenge 4

Hi Everyone,

As promised, here is my second finished challenge.  I chose this challenge as I have never actually done a rainbow coloured layout!  I have always wanted to, but just never found the right inspiration I guess.

Here is the challenge that was set by the very talented Agnus 

I have recently been playing with Spellbinders new line of co-ordinating products in the Celebrations range and I couldn't have thought of a better team up with that than some Faber-Castell Gelatos and a Crafters Workshop stencil.  Although not a requirement the birthday celebration theme was a great promt to scrapbook a pic I recently took on my phone of my eldest boy as we headed off to a party for some of his friends.

I really enjoyed creating this background in front of the TV last night while watching a movie, it was so relaxing adding and blending the colours.  I then completed the layout with the embossed doiley element, papers, twine stamping and die cuts.  So much fun!  

Here are some of the products I used to create this layout

Spellbinders Celebrations line, stamps, ink pads, embossing folder, twine and of course die sets!  I teamed it up with the microbial stencil from The Crafters Workshop, and Faber-Castell Gelatos and Whipped Spackle.  All my favourite products used on this one, and just love how it came, how challenged I was and that I have documented another special moment.

This collection and Gelatos are definitely an addiction for me at the moment!  All the designs for the new collection are modern and fun and perfect for scrapbooking my boy's pics, and gelatos, well they are just so so versitle!  I also just LOVE how they picked up the subtle texture created with one of my favourite TCW stencils!  

I hope to get more of the challenges done.. but running out of time - hasn't been much scrapping happening at my desk this past week (well that I can share anyway!)
